Accessibility statement

How we have built this website, how the Cedarfield office is set up physically, and what to do if either one does not work for you.

This website

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. As of the last review on July 24, 2026, we believe this site conforms, with the known exceptions listed below.

What we have done:

  • Every page uses semantic landmarks and a single, correctly ordered heading hierarchy, so screen reader users can navigate by heading or region.
  • Every image has descriptive alt text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology rather than given empty filler.
  • Body text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background, and large text meets 3:1. The teal used for links and buttons was darkened from our brand color specifically to pass.
  • Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard, in a logical order, with a visible focus outline that is not removed.
  • A skip link is the first focusable element on every page.
  • Text can be resized to 200 percent and reflows to a single column without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.
  • Animation and transitions are disabled for anyone whose system requests reduced motion.
  • The site works with JavaScript unavailable, because the marketing pages ship none.

Known limitations

The PDF versions of our patient forms are not fully tagged for screen readers. This is on our list. In the meantime, call (216) 555-0148 and Rosa will complete the forms with you over the phone, which takes about ten minutes.

The Cedarfield office

  • The building has a level, step-free entrance on the north side, wide enough for a double stroller or a wheelchair.
  • An elevator serves the second floor. There is also a stairwell.
  • Two accessible parking spaces are in the rear lot nearest the north entrance.
  • The reception desk has a lowered section for wheelchair users.
  • Doorways to all five operatories are 36 inches wide.
  • Restrooms on the second floor are accessible and have a changing table.
  • Children may remain in their own wheelchair for treatment rather than transfer.

Accommodations we make on request

  • The first appointment of the day or the first after lunch, when the office is quiet and empty
  • Lobby music turned off before you arrive
  • Low lighting, no sunglasses, no polish, no suction, in any combination
  • Desensitization visits at no charge, where nothing clinical happens at all
  • The exact sequence of the visit given to you in advance, in order, so you can prepare at home
  • American Sign Language interpretation, arranged at our cost with two weeks’ notice
  • Written materials in large print
  • Spanish-language care from Dr. Marco and Rosa, without a scheduled interpreter
